Staking XNT
Delegate your XNT to a validator to earn staking rewards — step by step, plus how to track and unstake.
Staking lets you earn rewards by delegating your XNT to a validator that secures the X1 network. Your tokens stay in your control the whole time — you're only delegating them, never giving them away.
The staking page lives at /staking, or /stake/<validator> when you arrive from a specific validator.

How staking works
- You delegate XNT to a validator of your choice.
- The validator earns rewards each epoch and pays them to its delegators, minus its commission.
- Rewards accrue automatically — there's nothing to claim manually.
- You can unstake at any time; your XNT becomes withdrawable after a short cooldown.
How to stake
You'll need a connected wallet with XNT. See Connecting Your Wallet.
Connect your wallet using the button in the top right.
Open a validator's page and choose the Stake tab (or go to /staking).
Enter an amount to stake. You can also tap 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% to use a portion of your available balance.
Check the minimum stake requirement shown below the field and that you have enough XNT left for network fees.
Click Stake and approve the transaction in your wallet.
Your new stake begins activating and starts earning once it's fully active (this takes a short warm-up period).
The staking tabs
A validator's staking page has four tabs:
- Stake — the delegation form plus your existing stake accounts with this validator.
- Analytics — the validator's real numbers: APR, vote performance, network share, and its rank among all validators. (These reflect live on-chain data, not estimates.)
- History — your on-chain staking activity with this validator.
- Rewards — your per-epoch staking rewards. See Staking Rewards.
Understanding the numbers
- APR — your estimated annual return after the validator's commission.
- Commission — the percentage the validator keeps before paying rewards.
- Network Share / Rank — how large this validator is relative to the whole network.
- Delegators — the real number of accounts staking with this validator.
Unstaking
To stop staking, open your stake account and choose Unstake. The stake enters a deactivation cooldown before the XNT becomes withdrawable. The exact wait depends on how far the current epoch has progressed — the explorer shows you an estimated time. Once cooldown completes, you can withdraw your XNT back to your wallet.
Staking rewards and APR vary with network conditions and the validator's performance. Nothing here is financial advice — always do your own research before delegating.
