Forti AI Assistant
A trader-scoped natural-language assistant that can read your portfolio, your trades, and current market state
Forti is Honey Badger's built-in AI assistant. It's a Grok-backed model with a curated toolbelt of 51 trader-scoped tools that let it read your live portfolio, your recent trades, market state, on-chain data, and the top tokens on X1. You ask questions in plain English; it answers in plain English.
What Forti can answer
Try asking things like:
- "How's my portfolio today?"
- "Which of my positions is up the most this week?"
- "Show me the top 10 projects on X1 by 24h volume."
- "Who are the smart wallets on TOKENX right now?"
- "Who are the top holders of TOKENX?"
- "Am I currently at risk on any position?"
- "What automations are running on my W2 wallet?"
The style is deliberately conversational. Forti replies with sentences, not JSON dumps. If a question needs a table, it renders a table inline; if it needs a chart, it embeds one; otherwise it just talks.
How it works
- Forti runs against your live account. Every response is grounded in the actual state of your wallets and the current market — not a stale snapshot.
- The 51 tools are trader-scoped: they can query your positions, your orders, your automations, and public market data, but not anyone else's account.
- Answers include their sources (which tool was called, when the data was fetched) so you can verify.
- The panel is theme-aware and style-aware: it matches your dashboard's dark/light theme and layout density.
The Live portfolio stream
While the Forti panel is open, your portfolio is streamed live over WebSocket (/ws/portfolio). The LiveBadge in the corner of the panel shows connection state:
- Live — real-time, sub-second updates
- Seeded — first snapshot loaded from the DB, real-time stream connecting
- Reconnecting — stream dropped, refetching
The underlying pattern is SEED-then-APPLY: the panel seeds with a canonical snapshot from the DB, then applies incremental patches from the stream. This means the numbers you see are always both fresh and self-consistent, even during network hiccups.
Where to find it
- Dashboard — the Forti panel is available on the sidebar (chat icon). Open, ask, keep it open while you work.
- Telegram — the same assistant is available in-bot. Type any question in natural language and the bot will route it through Forti.
Sample sessions
Portfolio check-in.
You: How am I doing today?
Forti: Your portfolio is up 4.2% today (+8.1 XNT), driven mostly by TOKENA (+18%) and TOKENB (+6%). Your largest drag is TOKENC (-9%), which is now 3% below your entry. You have an active stop-loss on TOKENC at -12% — no action needed unless you want to tighten it.
Discovery.
You: What are the top projects on X1 right now?
Forti: By 24h volume: 1) TOKENA (12.4M XNT), 2) TOKENB (8.1M), 3) TOKENC (6.7M), 4) TOKEND (4.3M), 5) TOKENE (3.9M). Do you want holder counts, price change, or smart-wallet activity for any of these?
Smart Money query.
You: Who are the smart wallets on TOKENA?
Forti: Three wallets classified as Smart Money currently hold TOKENA: wallet ABCD…1234 (bought 2h ago, up 22%), wallet EFGH…5678 (bought 4h ago, up 8%), and wallet IJKL…9012 (accumulating since yesterday, average entry 4% below current). Wallet ABCD…1234 in particular has a 68% 30-day win rate.
The AI Explainer (canary)
Alongside the assistant, we're rolling out an AI Explainer panel that surfaces plain-English rationale for automated trade decisions ("bought TOKENA because Grid rung 3 filled, size 0.5 XNT, current fill 22 / 30"). This is currently in canary rollout at 10% of users. If you don't see it yet, it's coming.
Privacy and scope
- Forti has read access to your account only.
- Forti cannot execute trades on your behalf. If you say "buy 1 XNT of TOKENA," it will confirm the intent and hand off to the normal buy flow.
- Prompts and responses are logged for debugging and safety, per the terms of service. Trader data is not shared with other users' Forti sessions.
Tips for good answers
- Be specific. "How's my portfolio?" is fine; "How did my copy-trade wallet do this week vs. my sniper wallet?" is better.
- Chain questions. Follow-ups keep context — you don't have to re-specify the token you were just asking about.
- Ask for the source. "Where did that number come from?" makes Forti cite the tool call.
