Liquid Staking with pXNT

Liquid staking allows you to earn staking rewards while maintaining full liquidity. Stake XNT, receive pXNT, and unstake anytime - no lockup periods.

What is pXNT?

pXNT (pooled XNT) is a liquid staking token that represents your staked XNT position. When you stake XNT into the liquid staking pool, you receive pXNT in return.

How It Works

Exchange Rate Mechanics

Unlike rebasing tokens, pXNT uses an exchange rate model:

• Day 1: 1 pXNT = 1.000 XNT (example)
• Day 30: 1 pXNT = 1.007 XNT
• Day 365: 1 pXNT = 1.083 XNT

Your pXNT balance stays the same, but each pXNT is worth more XNT over time.

Example

1. You stake 100 XNT when rate is 1.000
2. You receive 100 pXNT
3. After 1 year, rate is 1.083
4. Your 100 pXNT = 108.3 XNT
5. You earned 8.3 XNT in rewards

2. Select "Liquid Staking"
3. Enter the amount of XNT to stake
4. Confirm the transaction

2. Enter stake amount
3. Review the pXNT you'll receive
4. Click "Stake" and confirm

• Amount to Stake: Your XNT input
• pXNT to Receive: Based on current exchange rate
• Current Rate: The pXNT:XNT exchange rate
• Estimated APY: Current yield estimate

Unstaking pXNT

1. Go to "Earn" → "Liquid Staking"
2. Tap "Unstake"
3. Enter pXNT amount (or "Max")
4. Confirm the transaction

2. Click "Unstake"
3. Enter amount and confirm

Instant Liquidity

Unlike validator staking, there's no waiting period. Your XNT is available immediately after the transaction confirms.

APY Breakdown

The ~8% APY comes from:

Pool Fee

The liquid staking pool charges a 0.5% fee on rewards (not principal). This fee covers:

• Pool operations
• Validator management
• Smart contract maintenance

Example: If you earn 10 XNT in rewards, 0.05 XNT goes to the pool, you receive 9.95 XNT.

Risks

Smart Contract Risk

The liquid staking pool relies on smart contracts. While audited, bugs could potentially affect funds.

Slashing Risk

If underlying validators misbehave, staked funds could be slashed. The pool diversifies across many validators to minimize this risk.

Exchange Rate Risk

In extreme scenarios (mass slashing), the exchange rate could decrease. This is rare but possible.

Liquidity Risk

In high-demand unstaking periods, there may be temporary delays. The pool maintains reserves to handle normal demand.

pXNT in DeFi

Since pXNT is a standard token, you can use it in DeFi protocols:

• Collateral: Use pXNT as collateral for loans
• Liquidity: Provide pXNT liquidity in DEX pools
• Yield Stacking: Earn additional yield on top of staking rewards
