Order Types

Take Profit (TP)

Automatically sell when price rises to target.

Create TP Order:

/tp <token_address> <target_price> <sell_percentage>

Example: Sell 50% when price hits $1.00

/tp 0x1234...abcd 1.00 50

Stop Loss (SL)

Automatically sell when price drops to limit losses.

Create SL Order:

/sl <token_address> <trigger_price> <sell_percentage>

Example: Sell 100% if price drops to $0.30

/sl 0x1234...abcd 0.30 100

Trailing Stop

Dynamic stop loss that follows price upward.

Create Trailing Stop:

/trail <token_address> <trail_percentage>

Example: 15% trailing stop

/trail 0x1234...abcd 15

How it works:

• Price rises from $1.00 to $2.00
• Stop triggers at $1.70 (15% below peak)
• If price continues to $3.00
• Stop moves to $2.55 (15% below new peak)

DCA Orders

Dollar Cost Average into positions over time.

Create DCA Order:

1. Go to Orders > DCA
2. Select token
3. Configure:
   • Total amount
   • Number of buys
   • Interval (hourly/daily/weekly)
4. Activate

Edit Order

/order edit <order_id>

Modify order parameters:

• Trigger price
• Sell percentage
• Order type

Cancel Order

/order cancel <order_id>

Remove the order without executing.

Pause Order

Temporarily disable without removing:

/order pause <order_id>

Resume Order

/order resume <order_id>

Order Strategies

Basic Protection

For every position, set:

1. Take Profit at 2-3x entry
2. Stop Loss at -30% to -50%

Example setup for $100 position:

• TP: Sell 50% at 2x ($200 value)
• TP: Sell remaining at 3x ($300 value)
• SL: Sell 100% at 0.5x ($50 value)

Scaling Out

Take profits in stages:

TP1: Sell 25% at +50%
TP2: Sell 25% at +100%
TP3: Sell 25% at +200%
TP4: Trailing stop for rest

Risk-Adjusted Stops

Tighter stops for larger positions:

Breakeven Stop

After significant gains, move stop to breakeven:

1. Buy at $1.00
2. Price rises to $1.50
3. Move SL to $1.00 (breakeven)
4. Risk-free from here

Position Management

Averaging Down

Add to losing positions strategically:

1. Initial buy at $1.00
2. Price drops to $0.50
3. Buy same amount at $0.50
4. New average: $0.75

Caution: Only average down on conviction plays.

Taking Partial Profits

Don't be all-or-nothing:

• Sell 25% to recover initial
• Let rest ride with trailing stop
• Reduces stress and locks gains

Cutting Losses

Know when to exit:

• Stop hit? Execute immediately
• Don't move stops to avoid loss
• Accept small losses to avoid large ones

Best Practices

1. Always use stops - No position without protection
2. Set orders immediately - Don't wait to set TP/SL
3. Review weekly - Adjust orders as needed
4. Don't overtrade - Quality over quantity
5. Track everything - Use history for improvement
