Honey Badger supports multiple wallets for flexible trading strategies. Learn how to create, manage, and secure your wallets.
Creating Wallets
Your First Wallet
When you first start the bot, a wallet is automatically created for you:
/startThe bot displays:
- Wallet address
- Private key (save immediately!)
Additional Wallets
Create up to 10 wallets:
/walletSelect Create New Wallet from the menu.
Wallet Labels
Each wallet is labeled W1, W2, W3, etc. You can identify them by:
- Wallet number (W1-W10)
- Address (first and last characters)
- Custom nickname (in settings)
Viewing Balances
All Wallets
/balanceShows balances for all your wallets:
Wallet Balances
W1 (Active): 0x1234...abcd
X1: 10.5 ($52.50)
USDT: 100.00 ($100.00)
W2: 0x5678...efgh
X1: 5.2 ($26.00)Single Wallet
In the wallet menu, select a wallet to see detailed balances including all tokens.
Switching Wallets
Via Command
/wallet switchThen select the wallet number.
Quick Switch
Use inline buttons in the wallet menu to switch instantly.
Default Wallet
Your active wallet is used for all trades. The active wallet is marked with (Active) in lists.
Depositing Funds
Get Deposit Address
/depositDisplays your active wallet's address for receiving funds.
From Exchange
- Copy your deposit address
- Go to your exchange
- Withdraw to your Honey Badger address
- Wait for confirmation
From Another Wallet
- Use your external wallet
- Send to your Honey Badger address
- Transaction confirms automatically
Note: Only send X1 network tokens. Tokens from other networks may be lost.
Withdrawing Funds
Withdraw X1
/withdraw <destination_address> <amount>Example:
/withdraw 0xabcd...1234 5.0Withdraw Tokens
/send <token_address> <destination> <amount>Withdrawal Confirmations
Large withdrawals may require additional confirmation. Review the details carefully before confirming.
Importing Wallets
Import via Private Key
/wallet importThen paste your private key when prompted.
Security Warning: Only import keys from trusted sources. Never share your private key with anyone.
Import Considerations
- Imported wallets count toward your 10-wallet limit
- You can export again at any time
- Original wallet remains valid elsewhere
Exporting Wallets
Export Private Key
/walletSelect a wallet, then Export Private Key.
The key is sent in a self-destructing message (auto-deletes after viewing).
Why Export?
- Backup your wallet
- Use wallet in other apps
- Transfer to new device
Security Practices
- Never screenshot private keys
- Store in secure password manager
- Consider hardware backup
- Never share with anyone
Wallet Security
Private Key Safety
Your private key is the master access to your wallet. Protect it:
- DO NOT share with anyone
- DO NOT enter on suspicious websites
- DO NOT store in plain text files
- DO use password managers
- DO consider hardware backups
Recognizing Scams
Honey Badger will NEVER:
- Ask for your private key
- DM you first
- Request funds be sent somewhere
- Require "verification" payments
If Compromised
If you suspect your key is compromised:
- Immediately transfer funds to a new wallet
- Create a fresh wallet in Honey Badger
- Do not use the compromised wallet
- Report suspicious activity
Multi-Wallet Strategies
Strategy Separation
Use different wallets for different purposes:

Wallet Limits
Current Limits
- Maximum 10 wallets per account
- No minimum balance required
- No maximum balance
Reaching Limits
If you have 10 wallets and need more:
- Export keys of unused wallets
- Remove them from Honey Badger
- Create new wallets as needed
Troubleshooting
Wallet Not Showing
- Refresh with
/wallet - Check if correct account
- Contact support if persistent
Balance Not Updating
- Network may be congested
- Try
/balanceagain - Wait a few minutes for sync
Transaction Stuck
- Check gas settings
- Transaction may need more gas
- Wait or contact support
