Wallet Management

Honey Badger supports multiple wallets for flexible trading strategies. Learn how to create, manage, and secure your wallets.

Creating Wallets

Your First Wallet

When you first start the bot, a wallet is automatically created for you:

/start

The bot displays:

  • Wallet address
  • Private key (save immediately!)

Additional Wallets

Create up to 10 wallets:

/wallet

Select Create New Wallet from the menu.

Wallet Labels

Each wallet is labeled W1, W2, W3, etc. You can identify them by:

  • Wallet number (W1-W10)
  • Address (first and last characters)
  • Custom nickname (in settings)

Viewing Balances

All Wallets

/balance

Shows balances for all your wallets:

  X1: 10.5 ($52.50)
  USDT: 100.00 ($100.00)

Importing Wallets

Import via Private Key

/wallet import

Then paste your private key when prompted.

Security Warning: Only import keys from trusted sources. Never share your private key with anyone.

Import Considerations

  • Imported wallets count toward your 10-wallet limit
  • You can export again at any time
  • Original wallet remains valid elsewhere

Exporting Wallets

Export Private Key

/wallet

Select a wallet, then Export Private Key.

The key is sent in a self-destructing message (auto-deletes after viewing).

Why Export?

  • Backup your wallet
  • Use wallet in other apps
  • Transfer to new device

Security Practices

  1. Never screenshot private keys
  2. Store in secure password manager
  3. Consider hardware backup
  4. Never share with anyone

Wallet Security

Private Key Safety

Your private key is the master access to your wallet. Protect it:

  • DO NOT share with anyone
  • DO NOT enter on suspicious websites
  • DO NOT store in plain text files
  • DO use password managers
  • DO consider hardware backups

Recognizing Scams

Honey Badger will NEVER:

  • Ask for your private key
  • DM you first
  • Request funds be sent somewhere
  • Require "verification" payments

If Compromised

If you suspect your key is compromised:

  1. Immediately transfer funds to a new wallet
  2. Create a fresh wallet in Honey Badger
  3. Do not use the compromised wallet
  4. Report suspicious activity

Multi-Wallet Strategies

Strategy Separation

Use different wallets for different purposes:

WalletPurpose
W1Main trading
W2Copy trading
W3Sniping
W4Long-term holds
W5Testing

Benefits

  • Isolate risk
  • Track performance separately
  • Different settings per strategy
  • Clean organization
